Jennings Scifres, 75, of 602 Kentucky St., Crawfordsville, died Wednesday, June 16, in Culver Hospital. Born April 21, 1901, he was a son of James Marion and Amanda Bennett Scifres of Jennings, La. He was married to Lucille Price in May of 1924. She preceded him in death in 1957. He was later married to Mary Lahu in 1958. His second wife preceded him in death in 1968. Survivors are his son, Alvin, a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Tony of Crawfordsville, a foster daughter, Leslie Ann Davis of Germany, a brother, Marion of Vine Grove; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. N.L. Holland officiating. Burial was in the Otter Creek Cemetery in Vine Grove.--waw
